.:site:.

If you're here, you may be wondering, "What the heck happened to (insert name of one of my former sites that you are looking for here)!?" So, I'm going to tell you which sites still exist somewhere and which don't, and also give you a bit of history on this site for anyone who might care. This is a pretty small, simple site now, but it has a pretty long history.

Anyways, when the whole thing first started out, one of my former real life friends, RED, and I decided to make a site. originally it was all just one site, called Reality World, which was made up of a bunch of random stuff, including several Pokemon pages. Eventually we got really, really into Pokemon, and about half the pages on the site ended up being Poke-related, so we decided to split the site in two: one Pokemon site, and one site for the other random stuff. The Pokemon site was called Pokemon Forever, and the random stuff site retained the name Reality World.

After a while, Pokemon Forever evolved into being mostly a Team Rocket site, so we changed the name to Team Rocket Forver. Later on we renamed it again, calling it Crimson and Clover. This is the name most people remember it by. It was named after a song from the 60s by Tommy James and the Shondells, though the song has been remade many times by many bands over the years. We decided on that name since Jesse's hair is crimson colored, and James' eyes are green like clovers, and Jesse wears the green earrings that match James' eyes and James carries the red rose that matches Jesse's hair. Also the lyrics of the song could really relate to Rocketshipping- when she comes walking over/well I've been waiting to show her/crimson and clover/over and over

Anyways, Crimson and Clover was our truly major site that was actually really popular back in its day. I think one of the reasons the site was so popular was because we had a lot of pretty original stuff on it. For one thing, we ran The Rocketshippers Unite Webring from the site. We also had a whole lot of humor stuff, like bashing on the "twerps" and certain Pokemon that we didn't like, and a lot of weird takes on the questions about Team Rocket, and a lot of really strange, humourous fanfiction. We also had info and pics of Miyamoto and Mondo and a translation of Lucky Lucky before almost anyone else had that stuff.

But probably the most memorable thing was the club we ran off of the Rocket site, which was called Team Chaos. To get into it you had to answer a long list of questions, and we only let in the people who had cool enough answers. Only Team members were allowed to submit fiction or art, and we also had a private password protected board for members only. It's really hard to describe, but most of the people who were in TC kind of felt it was special in a way, and we really had a lot of fun.

However, as time went on, RED and I and the other TC members started getting a bit bored of TR and Rocketshipping, and moving on to other ships such as Palletshipping, or whole other animes such as Digimon. When I began to believe that Ash and Gary were in love, I started to put a few Palletshipping pages on the Rocket site. While some fans of the site started getting into it like I was, others complained, so I ended up splitting the Pallet pages off into a separate site, which you can still visit, called Reason to Believe.

I also breifly had a Digimon site, called Karma Chameleon, but I didn't update it much and then when 02 started I kinda lost interest in Digimon, so I shut down the site. However, you can still find some of the pages from my old Digimon site in the "Bits and Pieces" sector of my aforementioned site Reason to Believe.

But anyways, since everyone was moving on to other interests, eventually we kinda quit updating the TR site. Also around that time Rocket sites got extremely widespread, and we didn't seem quite so original anymore. Basically the site got a lot less popular and wasn't getting nearly as many hits as it used to. Also TC was starting to kind of break up and people were going thier separate ways, and we weren't really getting any new members since the site wasn't that popular anymore. So I ended up deciding to just kill off TC rather than watch it die a slow death. We kept the TC board around just for memories sake, but eventually it was deleted by EZboard. When I first shut TC down, I made a non-password protected board for the remaining TC members to come to if they wanted to keep in touch. The board was also meant as a place that any fans of our current sites could go to. However, it didn't end up being very popular, and I ended up giving it away to PikaCass to use for the site Anyshippers. However, soon after aquiring the board, PikaCass shut down Anyshippers so the board was never used.

Soon after shutting down TC, I gave up on the Rocket site as a whole, and decided to instead just concentrate on my Pallet site. Some of the old pages from Crimson and Clover were transferred to our general stuff site, Reality World, which still existed at the time, but later on we abandoned that site also, since we never updated it and it was totally unpopular. However, even after Crimson and Clover started dying, the Rocketshippers webring was still pretty popular, so of course I kept it around. When I shut down Crimson and Clover, I decided to hang on to the Rocketshippy pages from the site and make them into a little mini-site to go along with the webring.

Around that time, I also decided to make a webring for Pokemon Shipping, and I made a mini-site to go along with that as well. It was doing alright at first, but then I had major problems with my server and had to move to a new domain. This meant that now everyone who was a member of both my webrings- the Pokemon Shipping one and the Rocketshipping one- had codes that did not work, since my site URL had changed.

Since by this time neither ring was getting very many new members, and I didn't want to even try to deal with forcing all the current members to update thier codes, I just decided to forget about both rings. However, I didn't want to get rid of all the Rocketshipping and Shipping essays I had written, and so I decided to combine them into one site, which is where you are now.

In case you're curious, the site is named after the song Under the Bridge by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the lyrics to that song appear on the splash page of the site. Basically, the reason why the site is named this is because that song really reminds me of Shipping fandom. You probably should not ask why unless what you'd like is to hear me whining on for hours about how The Shippers betrayed me and ruined my whole entire life and I'll never get over it as long as I live, ever.

Well, that's pretty much the whole story, and I don't think I'm missing any sites or boards you might be looking for, but if you have any questions about anything you can always e-mail me. I would also encourage you to go to the site that is the collective of all of my currently existing sites, Aurora Moon..
